Mango

Mango is an approximately 17-year old scarlet macaw, extremely sweet, who likes to be with his humans and otherwise likes to keep track of household goings on from atop his cage. His original "main person" was a woman, but Mango steps up nicely and appears to be well-socialized toward either gender. Mango responds well to frequent bathing, to keep his feathers in prime condition. He has an excellent appetite and does well on a high-quality macaw mix with pelles, fruit and nuts, though he is not opposed at all to cooked food and goodies, or tasting what might be on your plate. Mango's adoption fee of $450 includes his size-appropriate cage.
