SAPPHIRE

SAPPHIRE is a 22 year-old, one-owner Congo African Grey, who is a well-experienced pet and whose vocabulary is so extensive that he might as well have been owned by an English teacher. He loves attention and being spoken to, he sings, dances and whistles. He likes to play hide and seek, and loves shreddable toys and foot toys. Sapphire is a good eater and enjoys a quality seed mix, Nutriberries, vegetables and fruits, including several types of melons. He also enjoys walnuts, pecans, chicken, beef and handfed oatmeal. He also likes watching TV and listening to the radio. Sapphire began to overpreen when he noticed that the house was being downsized and boxes were being packed in preparation for a cross-country move, in which he could not be included. His fosters are working with him toward resolving his feather issue. Sapphire's adoption fee is $450, which includes a size-appropriate cage.
